What is the Price?<\/div>

It is more expensive than Fiberglass.\u00a0 However, without the shortcomings of filterglass, the benefits of our spray foams will far exceed the cost of the upgrade.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Can I get a Square Ft. price?<\/div>

    We would rather look at every aspect of a project before we work up a bid.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

      What are the R-values?<\/div>

      Is an R-value the most accurate measure for performance?<\/div>

      Not always.\u00a0 It is the current method\u00a0used for\u00a0building codes use to rate insulation, but certainly is not the only thing a someone should consider when deciding on how to insulate their project.<\/strong><\/p>\n

      • There are three types of heat flow:\n
          \n
            \n
          • Conductive - the way heat moves through materials<\/li>\n
          • Convective - the way heat moves through the air<\/li>\n
          • Radiant - when heat travels\u00a0in a straight line heating anything solid it it's path<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n

            Only Conductive heat flow is used in determining R-Value levels, however, studies have shown that Convective Heat accounts for 25-40% of the energy used for heating and cooling a typical home. Spray Foam stops the Convective heat from infiltrating your home, something that other insulations\u00a0just can't do.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>

            What are the biggest reasons for using Spray foams over fiberglass?<\/div>

            Air Sealing and Custom Fit.<\/strong><\/p>\n

            • Foams are continuous air barriers and won\u2019t allow air to move through them.\u00a0 A sealed envelope around your entire project will have a huge impact on energy savings.<\/li>\n
            • Fiberglass comes in Rolls and Batts, designed to fit one size, or shape of cavity\u00a0which usually leads to cutting\u00a0the pieces\u00a0short of\u00a0the floor causing voids and massive air leakage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              We feel this is where we have one of our biggest advantages.\u00a0\u00a0We inspect each cavity we spray as if it were in our own home. Tall ones, short ones, thin ones, or wide ones. It doesn\u2019t matter to us. They are all installed to manufactures recommendations or thicker. Making sure nothing is missed on each and every project.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

              Why don\u2019t Spray Foams have the same moisture problems of fiberglass?<\/div>

              With an air-barrier, there is no condensation point.<\/strong><\/p>\n
